Route 66 Chevrolet Drivers Drove Home with a New Family Member during Clear the Shelters on August 18th

Thank you to all who participated in our Clear the Shelters event on Saturday, August 18th! Over 15 shelters came out to area business to help connect pets to a loving home. At Route 66 Chevrolet, we were happy to host Sapulpa Furry Friends and Amore Pit Bull Rescue at our Tulsa dealership so our surrounding Oklahoma drivers could come and meet the dogs and cats who were available for adoption.

Our dealership family at Route 66 Chevrolet are committed to providing a quality experience for our community of drivers near the Tulsa area. Going beyond offering drivers great deals on quality new and pre-owned inventory during Clear the Shelters was a wonderful way for drivers to complete their home not just with a new vehicle, a new furry family member.

Several other area Oklahoma shelters came out to area business such as Woodland Hills Mall where Broken Arrow Rescue Community, C.A.R.E., Cleveland Area Pound Pals, Heart & Soul Rescue, and many more shelters had pets available for adoption for shoppers. With lower adoption costs, many pets were able to find a good home.

Facebook Live dates were held throughout the day to show the many new pets that were being adopted throughout our community. New pet owners got a jump start with free collars from Southern Agriculture/2 Works. We were happy to sponsor this national initiative for our Oklahoma neighbors near Broken Arrow, Owasso, Sand Springs, and Jenks along with other community business such as Route 66 Nissan of Tulsa, Southern Agriculture, Angels Pet Funeral Home, and Osage Casino. Reach out to your local animal shelter to learn more about adopting a new pet.
